Hot topic: Conference season is upon us – are you ready?
Back in late June, we wrote in Hot Topic about the importance of preparing early for conference season.
Well, the last three months have flown by! Memories of the long hot summer are fading, and we are now all truly ‘back at school’.
And as we all know from our school days, the busy autumn term is crucial – setting us up for success (or otherwise) in the year ahead.
So too it is in the world of biotech and life sciences. The coming months are when many vital meetings are held, and the crucial groundwork is laid for deals to get done in 2026.
Next Thursday (9th October), Optimum is holding its very own Annual Healthcare Investor Conference at the King’s Fund in central London.
Our popular event promises to be incredibly interesting, with panels tackling practical subjects including how to tailor your narrative for maximum punch, how to thrive in tough times, and how to achieve the best exit.
If you’ve managed to snag a place – we are now at capacity – we look forward to seeing you there. If not, then we will be putting together highlights of the day which we’ll be publishing on our website in the coming weeks, so do check back.
Of course, the big one in London this autumn is Jefferies’ Global Healthcare Conference, which is held from Monday 17th to Thursday 20th November at the Waldorf Hotel, and forms the anchor for London Life Sciences Week.
Conference season doesn’t stop there and many will be casting their eyes ahead to J.P.Morgan’s Annual Healthcare Conference in San Francisco. Before we know it, that’ll be over too.
Will you have capitalised on the opportunities that currently lie ahead?
It’s not too late to get our thoughts on how to refine your pitch, or ask our advice about which investors or partners you should be aiming to rub shoulders with. So do drop us a line.
As the nights draw in, we look forward to the busy weeks ahead – which in many ways are the best of the year.
