AC Immune Receives FDA Fast Track Designation for Anti-Alpha-synuclein Active Immunotherapy, ACI-7104, to Treat Early Parkinson’s disease
AC Immune SA (NASDAQ: ACIU), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing targeted therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases, announced that it has received Fast Track designation and clearance of its Investigational New Drug (IND) application from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its wholly owned anti-alpha-synuclein (a-syn) active immunotherapy candidate, ACI-7104, for the treatment of early-stage Parkinson’s disease (PD).

Oncoinvent, a biotech company developing a receptor-independent alpha radiopharmaceutical to eradicate cancer cells in the abdominal cavity after surgery with a single, targeted dose, announced the publication of clinical dosimetry data for Radspherin® in the Journal of Nuclear Medicine, one of the leading peer-reviewed journals in the field.
AstronauTx exercises option from Saniona to acquire worldwide rights to neurological disease programme under research collaboration
AstronauTx Ltd, a biotechnology company developing therapeutics to treat neurological disorders by improving sleep architecture, announced that it has exercised its option from Saniona under the companies’ 2023 Research Collaboration and Option Agreement to secure exclusive worldwide rights to research, develop, manufacture and commercialise therapeutic candidates arising from the collaboration. The collaboration has successfully delivered the development candidate ATX0926, which is expected to enter IND-enabling studies shortly.
