Applications for BaseLaunch Phase II accelerator program to close on 22nd June
BaseLaunch, the Basel Area-based incubator and accelerator, helps scientists and entrepreneurs launch exceptional biotech companies. Since early 2018, BaseLaunch has supported nine ventures that have, in total, raised over USD 100 million in financing.
BaseLaunch is operated by Basel Area Business & Innovation, the investment and innovation promotion agency of the Basel Area. During its first phase (2017-2019), BaseLaunch was supported by Roche, Novartis Venture Fund, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Roivant Sciences. Phase II has seen partnerships with Roche and venture fund BB Pureos Bioventures with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
This is a fantastic initiative that helps young businesses by providing the support they need to succeed. This includes up to USD 500,000 in fundraising, introduction to a dynamic network and access to free lab space.
